With the advent of the Smartphone, it has never been easier to take lots of photos all the time and everywhere... Besides, if you are like me, you take too many and you never sort them, which will end up causing problems... But this massive arrival of digital photography has also caused a democratization of retouching tools. While they are often available as applications directly on your smartphone, it can nevertheless be very useful to have a free tool accessible from anywhere in your web browser.
That's why I wanted to introduce you Picture Editor, a free online photo editing tool that has the merit of being easy to use!
Edit images online from anywhere with Picture Editor!
If you only edit your photos occasionally, you probably don’t want to invest in expensive professional editing software and you probably don’t need to install dedicated software on your device. This is where a free online tool comes in handy… it’s available everywhere and doesn’t require installation. This way, you’re up and running right away and you don’t have to waste time with software.
Picture Editor is a tool that stands out for its ease of use.
In fact, when you go to the Picture Editor website, the first thing you will have to do is select the image you want to edit on your device (but you can also open a blank workspace).
From there you have the power to edit your photo with a whole series of relatively classic tools.
First of all, you will be able to apply filters effects to your photo (Black and White, Polaroid, pixelation, blur, etc.). These different effects can be combined and some of them have settings that you can modify.

Then you will have the option to modify your photo with a resizing tool, a cropping tool and a tool allowing you to rotate it… Tools that are often essential for enhancing a photo.
Finally, there is a series of tools that allow you to annotate and draw on your photo. Indeed, this editor has a fairly basic drawing option that allows you to draw on your photo (choice of color, brush and line thickness). It is also possible to add text, shapes, stickers, a frame, round the corners or change the background color if your photo does not take up the entire workspace.
Finally, and this is a nice feature, you have the ability to load multiple images on the same workspace and you will find them on different layers with shadow, opacity, outline or texture options.

When finished, you can upload your photo in PNG format.
The only regret I have is the lack of tools to adjust the main parameters of your photo: exposure, brightness, light tones, shadows, black point, saturation, etc. Some elements are available in the effects, such as brightness or gamma, but the rest is sorely lacking.
However, Picture Editor is a good free online image editing tool!
