Some time ago I told you about Pimeyes, an incredible tool for finding someone on the web from their photo. Here is a very complementary tool to integrate into your perfect stalker's kit: Profile Discover. As its name suggests, this free tool presents itself as a search engine to find all of someone's profiles on social networks.

Indeed, this tool was designed to discover hidden profiles, find old lost friends or even develop your professional network. In short, it will allow you to find all the profiles associated with a nickname or username on several hundred social networks and communities.

While Google can help you find a lot of information about people online, using a search dedicated to this unique task can be particularly formidable! This is indeed what the Profile Discover search engine offers, which will allow you to search for a pseudonym or username on most social networks and other community platforms. Ideal if you are looking for the best way to track someone or, more healthily, if you are looking to get in touch with this person.

Another advantage, and not the least of such a tool, is that it will allow you to check in one click on which platforms you have already created an account... Because over time, we tend to forget the services that we don't use or use little.

Of course, this tool will search on the main social networks such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (ex-Twitter), YouTube… but also on more anecdotal platforms. At the same time, the search is carried out on more than 400 platforms. In addition to being completely free and ad-free, Profile Discover is very easy to use. Start by entering a username in the search bar and then click Look Up Profiles (Search for profiles). The bagpipe will spin for a few seconds and then show you the list of all the results found.

In this list you will therefore see the platform in question, a link to the profile on the platform and a button to copy the link.

By default, the search result only displays the results found (logical!), but you can also show the platforms on which the search engine found nothing by clicking on "Show not founds".

Note that the tool performs profile searches and therefore tests the URLs of the various social networks and other communities with the nickname entered. This is why it is mandatory to enter a username (or nickname) without spaces or special characters. Alternatively, you can search from a mail address (the tool will then recover the characters located before the @).

In conclusion, we can say that such a tool is a bit "freaky"... and that it makes us all vulnerable. Because if you can search for someone's profile, you are not safe from someone searching for your profile on social networks. This is why it is always important to take responsibility for everything you do online and to protect your different accounts as much as possible with complex and unique passwords and if possible to opt for double authentication.
