It only took a few years for Instagram to establish itself as THE social network dedicated to sharing photos. Over time, the network has evolved a lot by offering innovative solutions such as stories, but one criticism that its users often make is that it remains 100% mobile. Even if the network has watered down its wine a little by allowing consultation on a computer, It is still impossible to upload photos to Instagram from your computer (without workaround).
And that's where it comes in Frame.
Upload photos from your computer using Ramme
Ramme, which means "frame" in Danish, is an application for Windows, Linux and MacOS that allows you to access Instagram from a computer, but more importantly, that allows you to upload photos from that same computer. Yes, you heard me right, you will now be able to use Instagram on your PC in the same way as on your smartphone!
To use it, nothing could be simpler. Download the latest version of Frame on GitHub by choosing the installation file (the one ending in .exe if you are on Windows).
Then launch the installation and once it is finished you just have to connect.
And there, if you are a regular Instagram user you will not be disoriented. You will find all the elements that make up the mobile version of Instagram: news feed, search, activity, profile… and of course photo publishing with the same filters and the same adjustment possibilities… This is truly the full-fledged Instagram app.
The only feature that seems to be missing is the ability to publish live videos... of course, the application does not recognize your computer as a smartphone with a camera... but it is a lesser evil.
Finally, a small downside is that in the current version (3.2.3) it is not possible to change users. Once a person has logged in, it is impossible to switch to another account. Users have requested an upgrade from the developer, who plans to integrate it into version 4.0.
So it's no longer inevitable, you will be able to very easily manage your Instagram account and feeds from your computer... and that's really practical!
