RoutineHub, a kind of App Store for Siri shortcuts on iPhone

One of the main new features of iOS 12 released in 2018 is the addition of the "Shortcuts" application allowing you to create or add your own commands for Siri or other task automations. It is even possible to share your creations via the application to benefit the entire community of users.

But the problem is that this application is relatively complex and does not allow you to benefit from updates of the shortcuts that you have added. Too bad!

But that's where it comes in RoutineHub, a platform specially developed to share, download and above all keep your Siri shortcuts up to date… It’s a bit like the Siri shortcuts App Store that Apple should have created.

To use RoutineHub, you will first need to create a free account on the site.

This will give you access to lots of shortcuts, categorized... there's something for everyone.

But most importantly, people who upload shortcuts to RoutineHub can use an update module that will allow them to control the version of their shortcut and offer users the possibility to get the latest update of the shortcut. It would be a shame not to take advantage of the improvements that have been implemented!

It's surprising that Apple didn't think of it... but as is often the case with good ideas from its community, we can hope that the Cupertino company will quickly take it up on its own!
