If you regularly watch videos on YouTube, you've probably already wanted to share with someone a specific excerpt from a video you've watched. YouTube offers by default the possibility of generating a link that starts at the second you want (see image below), but in some cases, it can be interesting to have only the excerpt that interests you.
Using YTCropper to share a YouTube video clip
And justly YTCropper gives you the ability to share only a specific clip of a YouTube video. This free online tool is really very simple to use.
You just need to retrieve the URL or ID of the YouTube video that interests you, paste it into the appropriate field on YTCropper and press the “Crop” button.
You will then access the video editor where you will be able to determine, using small markers, the start and end of the extract you wish to generate.
Once you have selected your clip, press the "Crop" button and the tool will create your clip and provide you with a link to it. It is also possible to embed this clip on a website.
In short, YTCropper is a pretty cool utility if you're used to sharing YouTube videos to show just a small excerpt!
