In my circle, many people have several personal email addresses. In general, there is the "official" email address for all administrative exchanges, family, etc. and there is one or more "trash" addresses for registrations on sites, online purchases, etc. This solution, which has proven itself, is nevertheless far from optimal since it is necessary to manage several mailboxes and this can be annoying.
This is also why there are many online disposable email services such as Fake Mail Generator, Tempmail or, ThrowAwayMail. But the tool that I am going to present to you is a very good alternative to these disposable emails thanks to an ingenious alias system, it is SimpleLogin.
SimpleLogin to avoid spam without using disposable emails
To get started, you'll need to create an account on SimpleLogin. When you log in for the first time, you'll get a quick tour that will explain how to operate the thing!
Once you have completed this step, you will be able to create your first alias (in the free version, you are allowed a total of 5 aliases).
You will then be able to use this alias as you wish, whether to register on sites or to communicate with people to whom you do not wish to give your real email address.
Emails sent to this address will be forwarded by SimpleLogin to your personal mailbox.
You can also send emails by creating "reverse-aliases" and using these reverse-aliases from your SimpleLogin account email address (your personal email). SimpleLogin will receive this email and send it from the alias to its recipient.
If you notice spam being received through this alias, you can temporarily disable or delete it. You can then create a new alias for your future exchanges.
In short, SimpleLogin is really a very nice alternative to disposable emails since this tool allows you to receive the relevant emails in your main mailbox, but offers you the possibility to block possible spam at any time by deactivating your alias! The free version allows you to have up to 5 simultaneous aliases, which should be more than enough for normal use!
