The facts have not always proven it, but Microsoft is indeed trying to improve its user experience, and now it is by innovating on the screen capture side with Snip.
Snip is a screen capture software, which will allow you to share what is happening on your computer screen. The software provides you with a lot of tools that will help you better present your work. Whether it is to help one of your loved ones with a computer manipulation or for a more professional use, Snip is there for that.
Before presenting the software, I would like to make a quick translation point:
Snip refers to a scissor cut that you would like to make on your screen to keep a part of it, but be careful not to confuse it with the snip which rather refers to a vasectomy (it's less marketable!).
So if you are led to talk about it, say I did "a snip" and not "the snip"; we will thank Microsoft for this ambiguity which revolves around its environment.
This software consists of taking screenshots and personalizing them with different tools made available. (Pencils, whiteboard, audio recording).
Here's what we liked and what we didn't like:

In short, Snip is a good software for really fast and "quick" use thanks to its interface. It comes a little to reinforce " Capture Tool » integrated into Windows thanks to its features.
Its lack of settings, features and tools puts it well behind the competition, even in freeware.
A beta update that still needs to be reviewed. Microsoft still has work to do.
If you want a screen capture software, Snip will be more suitable if you have a tablet, otherwise move on.
