On Byothe.fr, I regularly present free image banks that can be used for all sorts of reasons. Most of the time, these sites like Pixabay or Pexels offer staged images. You generally have a person or an object and a setting that goes well. But sometimes, if you want to make montages (as allows you to do Icon8) you need to recover objects, people, icons or logos without anything else.
And that's what it offers StickPNG.
Stickpng is a platform that offers free PNG images with transparent backgrounds. to use for different projects like infographics, memes, presentations, scrapbooks and much more.
The images offered by the site are organized by categories: animals, robots, celebrities, icons, food, furniture, monuments, memes… and so on. Within each category, you will find subcategories to refine your needs. Thus in celebrities you can consult images of personalities linked to the company, stars, politicians, athletes…
But you can also use the site's search engine which works in both English and French!
This image bank, already rich in content (more than 33 references at the time of writing), continues to grow and users can also contribute by uploading their own high-quality transparent PNGs (they must be at least 000 x 400 pixels).
To download an image, you don't need to register on the site, just go to the page of the image that interests you and press the big "Download" button to start the download and retrieve the image on your hard drive.
