We have already regularly presented tools here for downloading photos or videos on Instagram, but it is rarer to see sites allowing retrieve stories. And yet, with their lifespan limited to 24 hours, it is not uncommon to need or want to download some of them in order to keep them safe!
story saver allows you to do just that… and what’s more, it does it very easily!
Use StorySaver to Download Instagram Stories
Once on the site, no login is required, just enter the name of the account for which you want to retrieve the stories and click on the big "Download" button. StorySaver obviously only works with non-"private" accounts, which makes total sense.
The tool will then scan the account in question and list all the available stories. You will be able to preview them and save them one by one by clicking on the "Save as video" buttons located under each of the stories.
What's not bad is that the tool will also list the available "Highlights" for you... the highlights correspond to the stories archived by the user and therefore still viewable when you go to their profile.
Finally, you will be happy to know that this tool which requires no installation works just as well on computer as on mobile or tablet!

I find that SnapInsta and Savegram can also download Instagram Stories very well.
