The job market in the field of technology and digital is booming… new jobs are appearing, others are disappearing. So it’s hard to find your way around!
The BBC, in partnership with The Tech Partnership, has launched an online test for young people to try to find out what your dream job in digital might be and how your passions and interests could lead you there.
This test entitled Make It Digital Matchr is inspired by the DICS behavioral assessment tool, from the work of American psychologist William Moulton Marston.
It groups people into 10 categories relating to different aspects of digital work. The resources used were compiled by The Tech Partnership, in collaboration with Google.
On the program, you will have to answer 8 questions which will allow us to determine your profile to know what types of digital professions you could work on.
Once all the questions have been answered, the test will determine your profile among the 10 predefinedYou will then have access to a description of this profile and the corresponding professions.
I'll let you try it out while reminding you that the test is entirely in English and is aimed more at our British cousins! Anyway, that might give you some ideas.
