On December 28, 1895, exactly 120 years ago, the first public cinema screening took place in Paris. The Lumière brothers screened "La Sortie de l'Usine Lumière à Lyon" to a captivated audience.
On this occasion, the team of Moon Film offers us a montage of 75 films by 75 different directors in order to retrace the entire history of the 7th art.
With this exercise, Moon Film did not seek to make a ranking of the best films of all time but rather wanted to select films that are representative of a given era or that have left their mark for one reason or another (record number of admissions, best revenue, cult films, etc.)... In short, a nice selection to discover below... Driving force!
