Flipcharts and/or whiteboards are very practical tools for brainstorming. We throw our ideas on them, trace drawings, imagine diagrams, make lists... in short, it is a tool that is often essential for the birth of a project, whether professional or not.
But with the virtualization of our world: remote working, connected friends or colleagues... more and more projects are born or set up without people meeting, or at least without necessarily being in the same physical place.
So, it exists Witeboard, a free online and collaborative whiteboard! Very easy to use, it only has a limited number of tools and that's what makes it strong.
In fact, you have a felt-tip pen with 8 colors, a text tool, an eraser and the ability to go back to undo the last actions.
Finally, if you are more of a "blackboard" person, you have an option to switch to a dark display. There is also a toggle option that allows the utility to detect the shapes you are drawing. Your ugly square will then be transformed into a nice square... well square.
Once you are satisfied with your project, you can even export your table as an image in order to save it.
The board works in real timel, which means that everyone viewing the page can see its progress in real time and contribute to it! Plus, the site even works on mobile!
At the top right, you will even be able to see who is connected to the whiteboard. Everyone can enter their name or appear under an anonymous status.
In short, Witeboard is a super well-designed collaborative tool and I can only advise you to test it… and if you don’t have a project in progress, you can have fun sharing your pretty drawings 😉!
